Onward with Training!
Maine Roads to Quality Professional Development Network (MRTQ PDN) is hearing from
you that the need for training is continuing during this time. Our staff have compiled the
following list of potential options for you and your program.
Communities of Practice (CoPs)
We know this is a challenging and confusing time for all of us. In response to provider
requests, MRTQ PDN has added new CoPs and increased the frequency of others. You can
find the updated list of these FREE offerings here: https://bit.ly/2JOJws2.
Free On-Demand Training
Through the MRTQ Registry, individuals can complete FREE on-demand training any time,
in any place. Start by visiting the MRTQ Registry here: https://mrtq-registry.org/ and log in.
You’ll see “Online Training” at the bottom of the screen click on “Access” to view the list of
on-demand trainings:
Health and Safety Orientation (6 hours)
Annual Renewal for CCDF Health and Safety (2 hours)
Substance Use Disorders: Informed Practice for Early Childhood Educators (2 hours)
Caring for Children and Families Experiencing Homelessness (1 hour)
These will be added to your MRTQ Registry Professional Development Profile once they are
complete.
