On-Line Mandated Reporter
Training
Approximately 60 Minutes
Anyone working in a Maine school is required by law to attend mandated reporter training within
six months of their initial hire, and renew their certification every four years (Title 22:Chapter
1071:
§4011-A, Reporting of Suspected Abuse or Neglect). An on-line session through Maine DHHS is
available for this training.

Click on the "Start Course" icon.
On the next page carefully read the instructions then scroll down and click on the
blue "Continue" bar.
Follow the instructions for taking the course.
At the end of this training you will be asked to enter your personal information to generate a
printable certificate of completion. You will not be able to revisit this page at a later date to
re- print the certificate. Please remember to download this certificate and store it in a safe
place for your records.
Send a copy of your certificate to Human Resources.
